A research, development, innovation and marketing body working for and owned by 29,000 Australian farmers. AWI has an objective to drive research, development and product marketing that aims to increase the long-term profitability, productivity and sustainability of Australian woolgrowers. AWI works to build alliances with designers, retailers, fabric manufacturers and garment makers in an effort to develop and promote high performing, premium quality Australian Merino wool textiles and apparel products available around the world.


International Wool Textile Organization

An international body representing the interests of the world's wool-textile trade and industry including woolgrowers, traders, processors, spinners, weavers, garment makers and retailers of wool and allied fibres in its member-countries, as well as organizations related to wool products and the wool business in general.


New Zealand Merino Company Ltd.

Acts to increase demand for New Zealand Merino globally by working with supply chain partners to champion the unique attributes of the fibre. NZM undertakes research & development to enhance all aspects of the Merino offering from on-farm practices to garment production.


The Woolmark Company

The famous Woolmark is administered by Woolmark Company, A subsidiary of Australian Wool Innovation. The Woolmark Company specialises in the commercialisation of wool technologies and innovations, technical consulting, business information and commercial testing of wool fabrics.
